Parents are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure their child has a chance of making it in this world.

For one young father, this includes working his butt off as a delivery rider while also caring for his little baby.

Philanthropist Ustaz Ebit Lew shared how he had stumbled upon the young father, who had previously gone viral on social media, and what he’s doing to help the man.

He wrote:

“It was heartbreaking to see the video of this brother bringing his child along while working to deliver food. The motorbike was borrowed from his in-laws. His wife works in a clothing store. They don’t have enough money.”

The missionary revealed that he felt overwhelmed upon meeting the young father, and cried. Feeling for him, Ustaz Ebit Lew decided to gift the man a new motorcycle and provide him with the assistance he needed.

“I gave him a new motorbike as a gift and asked him to find a babysitter for his child. I will help make the monthly payments for the babysitter.”

With that, he reminded everyone to be grateful for the simple privileges we have, for there are always others out there who are barely keeping their heads above water.

“When we feel like we are struggling, there are others who are more in need. When giving the motorcycle as a gift, seeing his tears made me feel more grateful. There is great value in unexpected blessings. Everything is from Allah,” Ebit Liew said.

“May Allah make his life easier. Bless this family with sustenance. Pray for all of our brothers and sisters who are struggling out there,” he added.

With that, we should all be thankful for what we have and help our fellow community members who are in need, however we can.
