Children are naturally curious beings, which means that they are always open to learning regardless of their situation or backgrounds.

One boy was photographed teaching his younger brother how to read the Quran while he was selling balloons by the roadside in Indonesia, as showcased by Andi Rihpan Ramadhana via the OFFICIAL MAKASSAR INFO Instagram page.

One netizen, who is familiar with the siblings, shared in the comment section, “For those asking where this boy is selling, he sells balloons and face masks every day with his younger brother in front of Top Swalayan (supermarket) in Kolaka Regency, South East Sulawesi.”

The little boy’s determination to learn and his brother’s patience to teach him while having to make a living is truly exemplary, especially considering the fact that these boys are willing to make the best out of a difficult situation.

We genuinely hope that Indonesian citizens will help these siblings by buying their balloons, as no one knows how badly they might need the income.

The touching story of these brothers has truly put things into perspective for us. As we enter 2021, let’s remember to count our blessings and be thankful for what we have.
