Malaysians are no stranger to the “Manglish” language, a.k.a Malaysian English. It incorporates terms from different languages and dialects, making it fun and unique, and most importantly, it brings Malaysians together. Regardless of our mother tongues, terms like “umm”, “lor”, “aaa”, and “lah” have become an integral part of our daily lives.

With that, HITZ FM has come up with a super fun challenge to put Malaysians to the test and give out cash prizes!

Yup, we’re talking about none other than the HITZ Yes, No, Umm, Ahh contest

Specially designed for those who love a challenge, this contest allows callers to converse with HITZ DJs following these rules:

  • Do not answer with “yes”, “no”, “umm”, or “ahh”
  • Do not use the same answer repeatedly or fumble
  • Do not say their names more than three times
  • Do not answer with the words “I”, “I’m”, and “I’ll”
  • Do not start a sentence with the same word twice
  • Do not provide answers that don’t make sense or are unrelated to the question asked

Wow! That sounds like easy money!

The rules of this contest might seem pretty straightforward, but let us assure you that it isn’t as easy as it sounds! But with great challenge comes great reward!

Participants who manage to keep the conversation going for 20 seconds can bring home a RM100 cash prize or MORE!

That’s right, you only need to survive for 20 seconds and the cash is yours!

However, if a participant fails the challenge, the RM100 cash prize will start to snowball until a winner is identified. This means that the amount will continuously increase by RM100 every time a participant fails the challenge. So you could very easily win much more than RM100!

Pssst… the cash prize actually snowballed to RM1,600 on 17 March! Told you you could win much more. ?

If you think you’ve got what it takes and you wanna earn some extra cash just by playing a game, follow these simple steps to join the contest:
