Head of Consumer Relations and Communications Department Abdul Raof Ahmad said that some of the areas that will be affected by the water disruptions include;

  1. Bukit Bintang
  2. Bukit Ceylon
  3. Kampung Datuk Keramat
  4. Pudu
  5. Chow Kit
  6. Taman Duta

Besides, he also said that Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (SYABAS) has taken the necessary steps to deal with the water supply disruptions, which are said to be caused by repair works due to serious leakage as well as the interruptions at the Bukit Nanas Water Treatment Plant.

One of the steps that will be taken is to activate a local service centre at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital parking area at 8pm tomorrow. Another step is by placing the static tanks at critical premises.
