First bejewelled vaginas, now this… what has the beauty world come to?
While most of us are (still) trying to get used to the pain of waxing and the more forgiving IPL (intense pulse light) treatment for our little sister down south, Thailand’s beauty industry seems to be ahead with a new trend in town: the 3D vagina.
Yes, we’ve heard of vaginal rejuvenation, which is a procedure to tighten a woman’s private area with the help of laser treatment for a youthful appearance, but this new “3D vagina” service involves injecting one’s fat from other fatty areas into the mons pubis, as reported by Coconuts.

The result? A fuller, plumper and younger-looking vagina. This treatment recently became viral thanks to a Facebook post depicting a ‘before and after’ illustration of the aforementioned fat injection procedure that was shared by a staff of Lelux Hospital.
The post, which has since garnered over 13,000 shares online, also included a photo of a patient lying down on a surgical bed, presumably being prepped for the said surgery.

The caption of the post reads something along the lines of,
“Beauty surgery for your sister using your own fat” along with the hashtags #vaginafatinjection #plump #fleshy
It also assured customers that the procedure is safe and not dangerous. Hmm…
While most of us don’t really know what to think of this latest ‘FUPA’ trend (read: fat upper pussy area, a term coined by a netizen), there might be a market for this, judging by the number of enquiries that have since flooded the hospital’s Facebook page.
Just in case you’re interested wondering, this procedure, which reportedly costs THB 50,000 (approx. RM6,300), involves liposuction on areas where one has excess fat like the tummy or hips, that’s then followed by the injection of the fat into the mons pubis.
