Have you ever caught yourself staring off into space for an extended amount of time and after you finally catch yourself doing that, you have no idea what you were just thinking about?

Well if it happens to you often, then you might want to join this competition which is named Space Out and Race it all Out (Pertandingan Tanpa Buat Apa-Apa)!

Space Out Competition Penang 1

The competition is set to happen from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on 9 July at the Hin Bus Depot, George Town.

According to their Facebook post, the aim of the competition is to “encourage people to step back, relax and take things one step at a time.”

Even though it sounds like it’s not much, the prize on the line is a one night stay for 2 people at the Angsana Hotel in Teluk Bahang. The participation fee is set at a low price of RM5.

However, after just 8 hours, the post was so widely shared and the competition organisers received such an overwhelming amount of responses that they had to close the registrations.

Netizens in the comments were amused with this out-of-the-ordinary competition and one of them decided to reply sarcastically.

Space Out Competition 2

Meanwhile, some users were tagging their friends and saying that they will emerge as the champion.

Other curious netizens were wondering how the competition will actually work. A helpful commenter deduced that it would be similar to the one she saw on TVB before.

Space Out Competition 3

Well, this certainly sounds like a very interesting competition where you’re not expected to do anything at all without any action.
