A statement made on January 29 by the Prasarana Malaysia Bhd stated that current concession card holders (students, senior citizens and the disabled) will be given a one-month grace period (until 28th February) to switch to MyRapid Touch n’ Go Concession Cards to enjoy a 50% discount.

The statement added that the purpose of implementing this cashless payment system is to mainly support the government’s aspiration to increase the efficiency of the nation’s payment systems.

“Customers are advised to buy the Touch ‘n Go card before boarding the bus. Customers who have the My100 or My50 pass can use it for the cashless payment system on the bus,” the statement said.

FYI, you can obtain the MyRapid Touch n’ Go Concession Card either by visiting MyRapid’s website or drop by the Pasar Seni Bus Hub in Kuala Lumpur or the Pasar Seni concession registration counter.

Go switch your cards to enjoy a 50% discount starting next month!
