Speeding Range Rover Weaves Through NKVE Traffic & Crashes, Causes Lorry to Slam into 3 Vehicles

A Range Rover crashed on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) on 18 October (Saturday) at around 5 PM after its driver had speedily weaved through traffic in a reckless manner.

This subsequently caused a lorry to slam into 3 vehicles that had stopped on the highway due to the Range Rover’s crash, as the lorry could not brake in time.

A Range Rover driver’s dangerous driving created a domino effect, which caused an accident involving multiple vehicles

According to a report by China Press, the Range Rover had sped and weaved through traffic before losing control and hitting the highway’s divider, leading to it flipping over multiple times.

While other cars stopped due to the crash, a lorry couldn’t brake in time and slammed into 2 cars and another lorry.

At the time of writing, there have yet to be any statements by the authorities in regards to this incident and whether there were injuries or casualties.

 

Video of the incident went viral online

China Press also took to their Facebook page to showcase dashboard camera footage of the incident, which not only showed that the Range Rover was being driven in a reckless manner before it crashed, but also the subsequent crash by the lorry.

The driver of the Range Rover was also seen opening the driver’s side door of the vehicle following the crash.
