Malaysian entrepreneur and social media personality Ahmad Iqbal Zulkifli recently voiced out his concerns over the current situation of controversial police officer, Inspector Sheila.

In case you missed it, Inspector Sheila was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate Court yesterday (12 November) for obstructing the duties of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers outside a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur on 4 November.

She pleaded not guilty and was released on RM6,600 bail. Iqbal, who was seen intimately close to Inspector Sheila a couple of years back, admitted that he was worried about her.

He added that the public had misunderstood Sheila, especially with the recent matter, saying that social media users had seen only a small portion of the incident through viral clips.

“She was always respectful and was always nice to me”

In his Instagram Stories last night, Iqbal claimed that he knew what happened during the viral incident, but said that he was unable to disclose further. Sheila also allegedly told Iqbal that she feared no one when it came to her current situation.

“I only fear God, not anyone else.”

Iqbal claimed that Sheila also told him that she is used to the public’s perceptions of her. Despite Sheila’s confidence, Iqbal couldn’t help but worry about her and said that throughout the time spent with Sheila, the woman had always been nice to him.

“Sheila had never treated me badly. I text her a lot, last week, this week, including yesterday. She has always been respectful and well-mannered to me.”

Iqbal, however, understood why some might be unhappy that he was defending Sheila, and be that as it may, Iqbal reiterated that he would always pray for Sheila’s well-being.

“Regardless of what happens, I appreciate Sheila as a good friend. You can speak ill of her, but I still appreciate her.”

Sheila’s case has been set for a re-mention on 20 January 2026.
