Selangor Records The Highest Number Of Cases 10 Days In A Row

Selangor continues to record the highest number of Covid-19 daily cases in the country for 10 days straight.

According to Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the state today logged 461 cases, with Sabah becoming the second-highest state at 225 cases and Johor rounding up the top three at 205 cases.

Currently, the nation has recorder a total 1,247 new daily Covid-19 infections and three deaths.

The increase has brought the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in the country to 101,565 with the total number of active cases with infectivity standing at 18,576.

A total of 108 positive cases are currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where four new clusters were created, three deaths happened and 47 cases require breathing assistance.
