Registration For AstraZeneca Vaccines For Those 18yo & Above Is Now OPEN!

Update (12.20 pm, 26/05/2021): The registration for the AstraZeneca vaccines for those 18-years-old and above in selected states is now open at https://www.vaksincovid.gov.my/


Minister Of Science Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has taken to a press conference to talk about the vaccination progress in the nation.

The minister said the opt-in registration was opened on 23 May for the elderly above the age of 60 in the following states:

  1. Selangor
  2. WP Kuala Lumpur
  3. Johor
  4. Penang
  5. Sarawak (Kuching & Miri)

As of now, the number of registrations is at 228,347, the minister stated in a press conference seen on Astro Awani. Those on the waiting list from Round 1 will be put into the system automatically. People under the age of 60-years-old in the aforementioned states will be able to register for the AstraZeneca vaccine starting 12pm tomorrow (26 May 2021).

The minister said that they will continue to prioritise the elderly in the National Immunisation Programme.
