According to the Star, a recent case saw a woman filing for divorce in Hsinchu, Taiwan and was granted one by the judge after he saw some of the screenshots of the messages the woman sent to her husband.
The judge agreed that her husband was “heartless” and cold, as he read all her messages and did not reply any. Essentially, he blue-ticked her!
The woman, identified only by her surname Lin had moved out of her husband’s family home last year and claimed that his family was unfriendly towards her.

After that, she got into a traffic accident and had to be admitted to a hospital. In the hospital, she naturally messaged her husband, looking for some love and comfort but he did not reply any of her messages.

“Hubby, you know where I am, why don’t you visit me?”
“I got into a car accident, I’m in the ICU!”
“Hubby, I’m in the hospital ward.”

The judge ruled that the foundations of the union had fallen apart and granted a divorce.
