“When this influencer goes to Tom’s shop, someone has already been checkmated with a special ingredient in the food… Only the hotel staff knows what Tom means by the ‘special ingredient’. Now, let’s wait for this one.”

One netizen explained the meaning of “special ingredient” in a shared Twitter post.

“Special ingredient, if a hotel staff says it, it means that the food has been spat on or contaminated with saliva or phlegm. There is no double meaning, that’s exactly what it is. Even people who are not hotel staff know about it. Many restaurants do it, so if there is a customer who behaves badly, their food will be contaminated with SPIT, PHLEGM, NOSE MUCUS, TOENAIL CLIPPINGS, and EARWAX.”

The netizen added,

“There are many interpretations. Special customer means a customer who is disrespectful. This is a well-known culture, even Western people do it. It’s in movies too, just Google it. Whether it’s true or not behind the scenes, as long as it satisfies the vengeful heart of a person.”

The gravity of the situation began to sink in.

Consequences can unfold when a person fails to handle criticism gracefully. Rather than using the opportunity to learn and improve, the owner’s rude and potentially harmful behaviour only further tarnished his reputation.
