The flood in East Malaysia, especially Kelantan has worsened over the past few days, with the increase in the number of flood victims. Deputy Menteri Besar of Kelantan said the flood is simply the cause and effect of the rain a few days back, but only the victims in the state truly know how tough and scary the real situation is.

However, UMNO veteran, Rafi Awang Kechik has a shocking message for fellow UMNO leaders in Kelantan.

He wants them to STOP helping the flood victims in Kelantan.

“Stop being the nice people and stop showing that you care.”

Of course, Rafi has his own reason, and it’s simply because the people in Kelantan have never shown any gratitude toward UMNO’s help even when the political party has always been there for the Kelantanese during their challenging days for the past decades.

“The people in Kelantan are not even thankful for our help,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday (December 18),

Rafi then said that the flood victims in Kelantan should just rely on their family members who are out of the state to help them when the disaster hits.

“They should ask their sons, daughters, or the in-laws from KL to help them. We take care of our own, and we don’t have to be kind,” Rafi added.

Rafi also sarcastically said that the Kelantanese people should also rely on the political parties that they voted for and love so dearly – Perikatan Nasional (PN) and PAS.

“Save our act of kindness to those who appreciate.”

In another Facebook post, Rafi also said that it’s time for UMNO in Kelantan to rest after helping the people for 32 years and that PN and PAS should take over the role of contributing to society there. He also said that UMNO is certainly not helping the PAS-led state as he has been labeled the thief by the Islamic party.

As of today (December 19), the flood in many districts in Kelantan has worsened and more than 9,000 people have been moved to the temporary evacuation center.

The monsoon season poses many dangers and uncertainties, and everyone is advised to be careful on the road and avoid risky areas.

To the flood victims, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Do you think Rafi should be the bigger person and help those in need?
