We all agree that politicians and their right-hand people should have more empathy for the public, who are still struggling to make a living.

With actions like wearing designer labels, travelling overseas and flaunting expensive cars, such actions will do nothing more than stoke anger among the people.

Taking to Twitter, @The_Mamu shared how lavish the Prime Minister’s Political Aide is living when she donned a RM70k necklace in office.

“Normally people would not look beyond the aforementioned names on the list. Such a beautiful necklace.”

Netizens commenting on the tweet mentioned that a trinket at that price is not uncommon for those in politics.

“There are also politicians who are able to make millions by only serving a year in office.”

What are your thoughts on the matter? Is it possible for a political aide to own such a pricey ornament?
