Police Searching For Two Men Caught Stealing 6 Bonsai Trees From Local Mosque

And in other news, the police are currently on the lookout for two men who stole six potted bonsai trees from the Ar-Rahmah Mosque at Kampung Sungai Belida in Guar Chempedak here last Monday, reports Kosmo Online. Talk about stealing something weird!

In the 1-minute and 32-second CCTV clip that has since gone viral, the two suspects are seen uprooting a bonsai tree while wearing helmets and face masks before fleeing the scene.

Speaking with Kosmo Online, Yan District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Shahnaz Akhtar Haji said that the loss of the ornamental tree was noticed by the mosque gardener when he arrived to prepare for Subuh prayers at 5.40am that day.
