Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has urged the people to choose Barisan Nasional (BN) in the upcoming General Election 15 (GE15) to ensure that Budget 2023 is implemented. He further asserted that all allocations for implementing the various initiatives and assistance in next year’s Budget are ready to be utilised.

According to Bernama, Ismail stressed that BN needs to win GE15 to enable all the initiatives and aid in Budget 2023 will be implemented. The Prime Minister said,

“The rakyat have to ensure that BN wins (GE15). The money is already there and ready to be utilised (for Budget 2023 initiatives),”

Speaking at the Negeri Sembilan Jelajah Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) Village Feast yesterday at Felda Palong, near Jempol Ismail also reminded the people to not be fooled by the promises contained in the opposition’s manifesto for GE15. The Prime Minister then said that the opposition could not fulfil their promises when they were in government. He asserted,

“From our experience with the opposition (when they ruled for 22 months after GE14), they could not fulfil their promises like reducing petrol prices and abolishing tolls. When they could not do so, they said a manifesto is not like the Quran which cannot be changed. So, I would like to remind you all not to forget the promises that PH (Pakatan Harapan) failed to fulfil,”
