PEMERKASA: Local SMEs To Receive RM1,000 Monetary Aid To Resume Operations

In today’s live broadcast by the Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, he announced monetary aid to help small and medium business owners, in an initiative called Geran Khas Prihatin or GKP 3.0.

“The government will continue to provide support to ensure business continuity, particularly for local SMEs. For that, the government has agreed to proceed with the GKP 3.0 so that businesses receive help to resume operations,” he shared.

Each eligible micro-enterprise will receive one-off assistance of RM1,000.

Applications for GKP 3.0 will begin from 1 April for SMEs who have not received GKP before.

“This grant is expected to benefit over a million entrepreneurs,” he added.
