Malaysians are staying home thanks to the Movement Control Order, in effort to eradicate the Covid-19 virus from our shores. But clearly, not everyone got the memo.

Some people could still be seen flocking to markets and crowded supermarkets. Some could even be seen coughing and sneezing with masks. One man, also decided to literally walk around naked.

As according to the Perak Gazette, a naked man had decided to go for a midnight stroll through a neighbourhood in Tronoh, Perak. They showcased CCTV images of the man, who seemed to be walking around aimlessly through back alleys and even house compounds.

They wrote, “Viral video of naked man caused concern. CCTV camera footage shows a man walking around naked in Taman Tronoh Awana, Ipoh. The man apparently only had a T-shirt covering his face as he aimlessly walked around back alleys and house compounds. The incident was believed to have happened early in the morning up until 7am.”

“One of the residents, 42-year-old Shaarani Ismail said that he had realised that something was wrong after a few incidents where residents’ CCTVs would be covered with clothes and bathroom windows would be opened from outside. Following the incident, he checked his own CCTVs and was shocked to see footage of a naked man walking around the compound of his house,” they added.

“According to the CCTV footage, I don’t see the man carrying any weapons and just seems to be walking around aimlessly. When I checked my compound, nothing seemed to be missing and there are no signs of a break in. I hope that this man is caught immediately as we are worried for the safety of our residents, especially for those who live alone,” said Shaarani.

Batu Gajah Regional Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Adnan Basri has since said that two similar reports have been received and investigations are underway to identify the suspect.

It’s unsure as to what this man’s intentions are but we genuinely hope that our PDRM cracks the case fast before this man decides to act further on whatever force is driving him to walk around naked.
