PDRM Is On The Look Out For Lorry Driver Who Tried To Ram Civilian Sitting At Roadside Table

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are now in the process of tracking down a lorry driver who allegedly tried to ram a civilian who was sitting at a restaurant table by the side of the road.

According to a report by Utusan, the Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Nanda Maarof shared that the incident took place at Taman Permai 3, Seremban.

In the video, the lorry driver could be seen in a somewhat heated exchange with a man sitting at a restaurant table by the road side. He then quickly moved his lorry forward before reversing it backwards at the man, running over some chairs.

“At approximately 2:15pm today (Sunday, February 5), a 1.03 minute video was found to be uploaded on Facebook and went viral. It shows a lorry driven by a man, trying to ram into a member of the public having a drink at a roadside table.”

“Until now, no police report has been received regarding the incident. The result of further investigations found that the incident took place at Jalan Kerapu, Taman Permai 3, Seremban. The date and time of the incident are under investigation,” he said, adding that they are trying to identify the driver in order for him to be arrested.

He has since also requested members of the public who have information in regards to the lorry driver, to come forward at their nearest police station.
