The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) yesterday detained four policemen, consisting of three constables and one corporal over a robbery and molest case in Tanah Merah, Kelantan last Wednesday (28 December 2022). Kelantan police chief, Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said that all suspects were detained a day after the incident.

As reported by Bernama, all four suspects are policemen aged between 22 to 28 and were swiftly detained after the victim lodged a police report at the Bukit Bunga Police Station in Tanah Merah at 11.24pm on Wednesday. Muhamad Zaki said that initial investigations revealed that the victim knew 3 out of the 4 suspects which entered the home, with one of the suspects, a 25-year-old policeman being the main suspect in the crime.
