PDRM Arrests 25yo Foreigner Who Went From Car to Car Breaking Off Rear Windshield Wipers in Johor

A foreign man who went viral for going around breaking the rear windshield wipers of several cars in Batu Pahat, Johor, has been arrested.

The Batu Pahat District Police took to their Facebook page to release a statement regarding this matter, sharing that the 25-year-old man was arrested by members of the Motorcycle Patrol Unit (URB).

“An investigation was conducted and (it was) found that the viral video showing a man breaking rear windshield wipers of parked vehicles happened near the Batu Pahat Bus Terminal, around 3:30pm on Sunday (October 20),”

“During the inspection conducted on the suspect after his arrest, the police found a folding knife in the suspect’s duffel bag,” shared Batu Pahat District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shahrulanuar Mushaddat Abdullah Sani.

The suspect is also being investigated under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/1963 for being in Malaysia without valid documents.

 

Prior to this, a video had gone viral online as it showed the man going from parked car to parked car, breaking off rear windshield wipers. The purpose of his actions is still unknown.
