Pavilion KL Apologises & Cordons Off Christmas Tree After Branch Falls on Shopper

Imagine enjoying the Christmas decorations at a mall, on Christmas Day, only for one of the decorations to accidentally fall on you.

That’s the unfortunate experience a shopper at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur had to endure.

Pavilion KL took to their official Facebook page to issue an apology after a branch from a Christmas tree had fallen onto a shopper.

They wrote, “We express regret for an incident that took place at noon today (December 25) in which a Christmas tree branch fell and made contact with a shopper.”

“Our medical and safety team promptly responded, accompanying the shopper to the nearest clinic for immediate medical attention. The shopper had a minor graze and appreciated the prompt action from the management. We are in communication with him and his family to ensure his well-being.”

 

Following the incident, they also took action to prevent anyone else from getting hurt.

“The Christmas tree are was immediately cordoned off for the safety of all shoppers. A thorough check will be conducted on all decorations to ensure its safety and integrity,”

“Rest assured Pavilion KL will continue to take all precautionary measures to ensure shoppers enjoy the year-end festivity with peace of mind as safety and security remain out utmost priority. Thank you for your understanding. Merry Christmas and season’s greetings,” they added.
