Are you a fan of horror movies and haunted houses? Ghosts and demons? Haunting experiences that will give you goosebumps and sleepless nights? Well, here’s an experience you don’t want to miss, especially if you missed out on Halloween.

This brand new one-of-a-kind horror experience known as Hauntu is the first of its kind in Malaysia and it’ll be launching this 20 December 2018!

What makes it so special you ask? Well, here are a few reasons:

1. Expect real actors, intricate mazes, lots of interaction and more

At Hauntu, there will be a blend of live theatre, role play, storytelling and a fair amount of audience interaction for the ultimate horror experience. Yes, that means there will be real actors whom you would need to interact with in order to solve mysteries and hopefully get out alive.

What’s more, you and your friends will be taking on different character roles yourselves with the objective of committing a fictional crime or completing a mission.

2. Hauntu features an IMMERSIVE horror experience like none other

It really is unlike any of the haunted houses you’ve ever been to because this one actually gives victims participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the horror story and engage with the characters during the experience. It’s like watching a horror movie, but instead of just watching it, you’re part of it! Definitely not your everyday boring ol’ haunted house where you spend all your time walking aimlessly through dark corridors and screaming at all the jump scares.

3. The Hauntu experience follows unique storylines dating back to the 1950s

For this December’s launch, the story will take place in the ‘Colle Eastern Hotel‘ constructed in the architectural style of the post-British colonial era of old Malaya. You and your friends will have to venture through this infamous hotel containing dark mysteries and try your best to make it out alive while experiencing life in three different eras – the 1950s, 1980s as well as the 1990s.

4. The story, albeit connected, will change every three months

This means that you will get to experience the Hauntu Hotel in a brand new setting with different plots and experiences while it still maintains the post-British colonial ‘Colle Eastern Hotel’ theme every four months. Each story you take part in will unravel new mysteries and offer brand new understandings and experiences.

5. The paths you choose and decisions you make will ultimately decide whether or not you make it out dead or alive

Unlike any other horror experience or haunted house you’ve visited, at Hauntu, you are required to make decisions and choose different paths in order to make it out alive. Participants will also be guided by professional actors and move from room to room, maze after maze. It’s not a place where you can buta-buta go wherever or do whatever you want. Every decision matters, so think and pick wisely! You’ve been warned!

Sounds thrilling, no?
