We all know that when looking for jobs, there is a certain way that we must conduct ourselves in order to be more presentable.

In a series of screenshots that has gone viral, we see an unnamed woman being quite unprofessional when applying for a job.

On 26 February, the woman texted 32-year-old Farhana, a pharmacist and sent her a CV to apply for a role in the pharmacy. However, it was quite “unique” as the woman was applying for her friend as well.

Throughout the conversation, the woman was being quite frank and overly familiar.

“If work and sallary all okey min cn continue work.”

“And part time we will study degree in online yar we plan it.”

“Basic sallary how much yar?”

Farhanah did not reply to the messages as she did not want to “get an additional headache.”

A few days later on 3 March, the woman texted Farhanah again with no greetings and at 10pm, asking “any update?”

The pharmacist thought that since she is her junior from the same university, she would give her a few pointers such as not using short forms, what to avoid talking about with employers, giving proper greetings and maintaining professionalism.

However, her long message filled with pointers was swept aside with just 1 message,

“ok thank you bye.”

Netizens were appalled by the woman’s behaviour.

Job Yar Comment 1

“Any update? Is she applying for a job or for credit card?”

The 32-year-old mentioned that when applying for a job, applicants should NEVER apply for a friend and people should only apply for jobs for themselves.

“No one comes in a package.”

Other than that, she also told WORLD OF BUZZ  that applicants when looking for jobs should always look into the company first to see if they are suitable before applying.

Well, these are certainly good tips. We hope that the young woman has learned her lesson and will take the advice given by Farhanah.
