Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has shared some good news for Malaysians, giving everyone the chance to enjoy the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix from the comfort of their own homes.
Taking to Facebook, he announced that the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will be broadcast live in Malaysia on RTM.

Previously, Harian Metro reported that the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) had been confirmed as the host venue for the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which will take place from 2 to 4 October.

With the race set to take place in Malaysia, Anwar said the live broadcast will allow F1 fans across the country to enjoy the action without having to be at the circuit.
“RTM will broadcast the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix live in Malaysia, allowing everyone to enjoy the excitement of the race together.
“I hope this live broadcast will give Malaysians across the country the opportunity to experience the thrill of a world-class race at the Sepang International Circuit,” he added.
