Help when you can!
On 26 June 2021, a netizen named Tze Mun shared a post on Facebook, urging the public to provide assistance to an elderly man living in Seri Kembangan. According to comments, the elderly lives alone and sells cardboards, tins and plastic bottles for a living.
“He does not know how to cook, so I prepare dried food and some fruits for him occasionally,” Tze stated. She also added that the elderly will cycle to his brother’s house to have dinner at around 6pm every day.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Tze Mun said that he used to live with his family until they moved out. She urges the public to do their best to help the man, such as sending him food from time to time. The elderly’s house is located at No.694, Jln SK 4/1, Sek 4 Seri Kembangan, near SJK(C) Serdang Baru 1.
Tze also provided WORLD OF BUZZ the phone number of the elderly’s brother: 011 1430 6149. He has prostate cancer and is scheduled to receive vaccination in August.
“It would be good if everyone helps a little by little. The address is provided, so anyone who has the will and the ability, do show your love moderately,” Tze said.
If you live nearby and wish to lend a helping hand, do prepare some food or daily supplies for the elderly. We cannot help everyone, but everyone can help someone.
