Unexpected manoeuvre caught on camera

When the vehicle began to skid, the driver quickly attempted to regain control; however, the manoeuvre resulted in an unplanned drift across the road.

Despite the danger, the dashcam shows the passenger laughing while the driver steers with remarkable composure, appearing entirely unfazed by the close call.

Fortunately, both men emerged from the incident unharmed. They shared a laugh over the situation and continued their journey as if nothing had happened.

Netizens share their two cents on the video and speculate on road conditions

The video has sparked a wave of mixed reactions online. One netizen suggested that the car may have skidded due to wet road conditions.

“Looks like the rearview mirror is wet, so the road might be slippery after the rain. Was this on the stretch from Tanjung Malim to Sungai Buloh? The driver was probably going over 110 km/h, luckily the speed wasn’t shown,” the user wrote.

Other netizens flooded the comment section, with many surprised by the duo’s reaction:

“The surprising thing is the passenger is just sitting there, smiling.”

“His friend just kept playing on their phone as if nothing happened. If it was a woman in that situation, she’d definitely be giving the ‘I told you so.'”

“They looked so pale. Whatever it was, thankfully, they’re safe. Always be careful on the road, and may Allah keep you protected from any harm.”

“You should’ve stopped the car, you fool. If anything happened to you, we’d be the ones saying prayers for you.”
