A local woman is sharing her regrets after having been deceived by a foreign man, who she was married to, who used her name to obtain a business license and registration with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).

According to a report by Harian Metro, the woman anonymously shared how she met her second ex-husband, a foreign man from Pakistan who owns a furniture shop, when he often visited the foreign-owned restaurant next door to her own restaurant.

“The introduction brought feelings of love, and I then requested a divorce (from her first husband) before marrying the foreign man who claimed to be single. At first, our life was fine, and my second ex-husband never talked about his business,”

“But, soon after that, he started to become too jealous to the point that I couldn’t go anywhere alone and he also persuaded me to get a business license and SSM registration to expand his business empire here,” she said.

Due to her love for him, she followed his instructions

After submitting to his request, the foreign man’s business allegedly progressed and brought huge profits, but the woman then discovered that he had a wife in his home country.

On top of that, she also found out that he had married a foreign woman after marrying her.

“It turns out that he already had a wife in his home country, and he married another foreign woman after marrying me. I have him a business license in my name, expanded his furniture business and made a big profit, but he cheated on me,”

“I feel regretful, and I feel used. I filed for divorce because I could no longer stand his blind jealousy and other issues, but he persuaded me because he was worried that I would take back the license,” she added.

She ended up allowing the foreign ex-husband to use the business license under her name while paying her ‘rent’ for it, though she intends to cancel the license so that he can no longer use her name.
