When it comes to ordering food, complaints are almost inevitable. We’re merely exercising our rights as consumers, but what happens when the food is not up to par to the point that it is not edible?

In his Twitter post on Wednesday (January 4), a Malaysian man by the name of Miji shared his disappointing experience after ordering himself buttermilk chicken rice from an online food delivery platform. Judging from the image that he shared, the buttermilk chicken looks too white! It looks like the chicken is simply dipped in thick milk.

A disappointed Miji has a message to all the food business operators out there:

“To all merchants and business operators out there, if you don’t know how to make a buttermilk chicken, then don’t sell it.”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Miji said that the buttermilk chicken was tasteless. No sweetness, no spiciness, no sourness. It simply tasted thick. As he couldn’t stomach the food, Miji even went the extra mile to fix it, but it was beyond repair.

“The buttermilk chicken was beyond ‘repair’. I tried to cook it again, but it didn’t work.”

That’s not buttermilk chicken

His post has since garnered much attention on social media, especially from fellow fans of buttermilk chicken, who believed that it’s impossible to mess up the simple dish.

Other netizens took the opportunity to express what they think about the failed buttermilk chicken, and each of them had their own unique description.

In all honesty, Miji’s meal certainly looks a little odd for buttermilk chicken. Fellow foodies, where’s the best buttermilk chicken you’ve had? Pls recommend some places for Miji to try in the comments section.
