Back then, it terrified us whenever we encounter an exam question that we knew we couldn’t provide an accurate answer to. However, we would try our best to give an answer as logical as possible.

Some students nowadays seem to take things for granted by not trying their best to achieve the required marks. Recently, a high school science teacher, who wished to remain anonymous has taken to her Twitter account to share her experience of encountering a “unique” answer on an exam paper by one of her students.

The students were tested on the chapter about reproduction and infertility. One of the students simply answered,

“How should I know, I’m not married yet. I’ll let you know once I’m married, okay teacher?”

The teacher responded by noting below the answer that it’s something that he should be aware of because he had studied the chapter prior to the exam.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the teacher revealed that from the post, she wanted to highlight not just the manners that students should have with their educators but also the importance of learning about reproduction and family planning.

“It’s not just about sex. Some people have misused the knowledge of pregnancy prevention and the impact towards society is something that should be pondered upon,” she explained.

She also revealed that there was a male student who approached her and jokingly asked if there is any practical studies for chapter 4 (reproduction), which implies the sexual acts between humans.

It’s common for some of us to not have any ideas while answering the exam questions but to provide such answers is definitely not the right thing to do. Not only that but it also reflects on your attitude while communicating with fellow educators.
