You know the saying, third time’s the charm? It basically means that when something is attempted for the third time, the results may turn out lucky.

We guess DBKL does not have that luck.

After having raided and shut down the viral jagung bakar (grilled corn) stall run by foreigners in front of KLCC for the THIRD TIME 2 weeks ago (which caused Malaysians to believe that the foreigners were challenging DBKL by reopening at the same spot again and again), yeah, you guessed it, they’re back again.

Corn 1 1

Netizen, Daryl, took to his TikTok page to share this, while humorously (and sarcastically) urging the authorities to turn the street into a pasar malam (night market) to accommodate the persistent foreigners.

“(The) grilled corn (stall) is still open for business on January 21, 2024 (Sunday) at 7:45pm. I would like to propose to DBKL and the Wilayah Persekutuan Minister to open a night market in front of KLCC,” he wrote.

Corn 2 1

This marks the fourth time the foreign vendors have opened their grilled corn stall at the location after being shut down by DBKL officers.

Malaysians have since (once again) called out DBKL for not taking stricter action against the sellers despite shutting them down numerous times.

If this was a game it would mean grilled corn vendors 4, DBKL 0.
