Eating out is often a nice escape from needing to cook on a day-to-day basis, but we’ve all had instances of receiving an item we didn’t order.

This was the case for TikTok user @razieriot, who placed an order at a mamak in Puchong, only to have something more interesting come his way.

In the TikTok clip, Razie began by stating how he tried to order Maggi Kari Soup from the mamak. Unfortunately, the waiter had served Razie just a bowl of curry. Understanding that he may have misheard him initially, Razie proceeded to repeat his order to the waiter once more.

“I told him I didn’t want actual curry, but I wanted Maggi Kari. What did he send me next? Maggi Goreng,” said Razie in the video.

Putting the two dishes side by side, Razie casually showed off his “Maggi Kari” dish.

Garnering a massive response on the platform, many Malaysians couldn’t contain their laughter or jokes in the comments section.

One user even stated that they had experienced something similar in the past, saying that when one of his friends asked a waiter for some tissue, he was instead served an order of Roti Tisu.

Another user wrote how Razie’s solution to the incorrect order was simple: just pour the curry over the maggi goreng.

Nevertheless, a number of users also advised Razie to be more clear with his order next time, as it is not a dish heard or made often.

“Don’t say it’s the mamak, even I was rethinking three to four times what maggi kari soup was,” light-heartedly wrote one user.
