Challenge yourself in the O-Zone Games 2023, happening at Pavilion Bukit Jalil this 31 August – 3 September!

In case you didn’t know, O-Zone Games started in 2022 and was organised by O-Zone Fitness, one of the first obstacle and callisthenics gyms in Malaysia dedicated to spreading awareness on bodyweight sports. ??

This year, partnering with Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA), O-Zone Games 2023 will pick out Asia Pacific qualifiers for the UNAA World Series Championship in the United States. What’s more, winners might also be selected to be part of Malaysia’s national obstacle course race team for SUKMA 2024 and Sea Games Thailand 2025. This also means that contestants are entitled to more ✨exciting competitions, cash prizes, and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities✨!

1. Competing groups and categories

From high school students to international athletes, O-Zone Games 2023 welcomes a wide range of contestants not only from Malaysia but also from various other countries like:

  • Singapore
  • Brunei
  • Cambodia
  • Indonesia
  • Laos
  • Vietnam
  • Philippines
  • Hong Kong
  • Taiwan
  • Japan

Three different group competitions will be held throughout the contest period, each group is divided into male and female categories

  • Open 
    • For contestants of all ages
    • Three-stage competition: top 15 contestants will compete in the Semi-Finals, and the top 5 contestants will compete in the Finals
  • Under 18 
    • One-stage competition: winners will be determined in one match
  • Rookie 
    • For non-O-Zone Games 2022 podium winners and non-SEA Games 2019 & 2023 athletes
    • Two-stage competition: top 10 contestants will compete in the Finals

2. Amazing cash prizes and opportunities await! 

Of course, no competition is complete without some exciting rewards! ? All winners of each group and category will be awarded product prizes worth over RM 10,000 sponsored by Just Build & Bump Bouldering, as well as cash prizes worth over RM12,000:

  • Open:
    • Champion: RM1,500
    • First runner-up: RM1,000
    • Second runner-up: RM500
  • Under 18 and Rookie: 
    • Champion: RM500
    • First runner-up: RM300
    • Second runner-up: RM200

On top of that, as we mentioned earlier, the winners will also stand a chance to be selected to join Malaysia’s National Obstacle Course Race Team! ❤️‍? With the help of professional O-Zone coaches, these budding athletes will undergo national team training and stand a chance to compete in SUKMA 2024 and Sea Games Thailand 2025how exciting is that?!

  • One Silver medal and one Bronze medal in Ninja World Cup 2023, Philippines
  • One Silver medal and three Bronze medals in OCR 100m SEA Games 2023, Cambodia
  • Two Gold medal, two Silver medal, and one Bronze medal in the recent Ninja 100 Southeast Asian Championship 2023, Kuala Lumpur

If you love watching American Ninja Warrior, you’ll be glad to know that you can catch O-Zone Games 2023 LIVE at Pavilion Bukit Jalil! Get your adrenaline pumping as you watch contestants race through the obstacle course right before your eyes. ? 

While you’re there, you can even try out some mini obstacle challenges  for yourself, as the set-up will be open to the public every day during non-competition hours! Don’t worry, it’s completely FREE of charge!
