Mothers tend to raise their children to have better lives and to be better than them in every aspect.

With that being said, shouldn’t a mother be happy that her daughter is trying to climb the corporate ladder? Well, it depends on how the daughter is doing it.

A Malaysian mother is now sharing her grief via the XUAN Play Facebook page, upon finding out that her daughter is attempting to climb the corporate ladder by becoming her boss’s mistress.

She wrote, “My 2nd daughter is working hard to make a living in the big city, but her behaviour also makes me worried and disappointed. When she was a child, she was so sensible and well-behaved, but when she grew up, she did things that I can’t accept.”

“After she broke up with her ex-boyfriend, she still maintained an abnormal relationship with him, even though she already has a new boyfriend. What surprised me even more was that, in order to advance in her career, she actually got involved with her boss, who has a family, and became his ‘mistress’.”

The mother went on to share her frustration of her daughter straying from the lessons she raised her with.

“As a single mother, I am heartbroken and disappointed that the daughter I worked so hard to raise would do something like this. Faced with all this, I felt helpless and confused. I didn’t know how to deal with it and how to get her back on track,” she added.

We genuinely hope that the mother finds peace in accepting her daughter’s unethical actions, as we doubt it will go well if the mother confronts the daughter for being a mistress.
