UPDATE: A Facebook post has recently claimed that Nabil’s story does not add up and that the local TV host put the blame on the vet. As Nabil has revealed the name of the vet clinic in the comment section of his Instagram post, WORLD OF BUZZ will reach out to the said vet clinic to get a statement. Stay tuned for more updates!
The grief over a dead pet is as heartbreaking as mourning over the loss of someone you love, and it’s even more painful when you’ve done everything you can only for your pet to NOT make it in the end.
Recently, local TV host, Nabil Mahir took to his Instagram stories and shared a distressing experience he had to go through while accepting the fact that his pet cats may not make it till the end.
Nabil named his cats after Marvel characters, and his first cat, Scarlett died after giving birth to four kittens, which none of them survived. On an Instagram story posted today (August 2), Nabil took the opportunity to thank the vet that cared for Scarlett during its time there, and who also handled its burial. Unfortunately, fate has something else in store for Nabil.
Not long after that, he noticed that his other cat, Kate Bishop, bleeding and weak. Without wasting time, he immediately rushed him to the vet clinic. However, what happened at the unnamed vet clinic baffled Nabil.
As the place was preparing to close, they refused to take a look and treat Kate. The unnamed vet clinic allegedly asked Nabil to visit another vet clinic.
‘If they truly care about animals, they would’ve accepted Kate,’ Nabil said in the captions.
All the delays led to a heartbreaking conclusion. Kate did not survive. He expressed his sadness over the loss of Scarlett and Kate via another IG story, and he had a message to the unnamed vet clinic that refused to accept Kate.
‘I will hate you forever, the vet clinic that chose to overlook Kate when she needed help the most.’
