There are plenty of values parents teach their children in their youth. From always being respectful towards their elders to minding the words they use in a tense situation, these lessons really do shape what we truly become in the future. Despite that, can many people attest to bringing these practices with them as they enter adulthood?

One Malaysian motorcyclist who simply goes by Andy recently shared a TikTok video to his page @andy87_nd of a simple yet kind deed he carried out a while back. Effortless in nature, Andy captured a moment of himself stopping by the side of a road to help an elderly woman cross the busy street.

At the beginning of the clip, Andy could be seen riding his motorbike casually before spotting a woman standing at the side of the road in the distance. Making the decision to stop by her, Andy soon stepped off his bike in order to help the elderly lady cross the street.

Walking over to the lady, Andy took the old woman’s hand before escorting her across the small yet heavily occupied road. Holding his hand out to stop traffic, some cars also halted their vehicle in order to let Andy and the woman pass. Finally getting her across the street, Andy dashes quickly to his bike before resuming his journey, stopping once again just metres away at a petrol station.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Andy said that the incident took place at Seberang in Temerloh, Pahang. Extending his gratitude, Andy thanked the vehicles who stopped to allow him and the elderly woman to cross the road carefully.

“Today we make someone else’s life easier. Tomorrow, God will ease our own burdens too,” wrote Andy in the caption of his post.

Hailed as a kind-hearted and aware motorcyclist, many users thanked Andy for stopping to help the elderly woman who needed to cross the street, even though he wasn’t obliged to do so.

“It’s actually fun to do good things, no matter how small it is, it makes a difference,” commented one user.
