M’sian Man Shot Dead by Two Suspects Riding a Motorcycle in Yet Another Shooting in Klang

A local man was found dead after being shot by two suspects in Taman Wangsa, Klang, on Wednesday (8 January).

Selangor Deputy Police Chief DCP Mohd Zaini Abu Hassan shared that the incident occurred at approximately 12:30 AM. The Klang Selatan District Police Headquarters (IPD) Control Centre received a report about the incident before officers were dispatched to the scene.

According to Sinar Harian, initial investigations found that the attack was carried out by two men riding a motorcycle. Moreover, two gunshots were fired at the victim.

Mohd Zaini stated, “The suspects then fled the scene immediately after the shots were fired. We have opened an investigation paper under Section 302 of the Penal Code.”

“In this regard, members of the public who have any information about the incident are asked to come forward to assist in the investigation by attending the nearest police station or contacting the Klang Selatan IPD at 03-33762222,” he added.

The victim’s body has since been sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital Forensics Department for a post-mortem.

A video and several images of the aftermath of the shooting have since gone viral online, as shared by the InfoUpdate X page. The footage shows the victim’s body lying in a back alley after he was shot dead.
