A recent post has won the hearts of many Malaysians after a man shared a heartwarming moment during his e-hailing ride.
Taking to Facebook, Boss Jab said he had booked an e-hailing ride to meet up with his friend when he noticed a sign hanging behind the driver’s seat.

A small sign that made a big difference
At first, Boss Jab thought it was just the usual advertisement you’d normally see in an e-hailing vehicle. But after taking a closer look, he realised the sign was actually something much more meaningful.
“I took a Grab ride to meet a friend at a restaurant in BGC. I noticed a sign on the back of the driver’s seat. At first, I thought it was just the usual ad, but after a closer look, I realised this driver was different. He was someone willing to help others in their time of need without asking for recognition or reward,” the post read.
To his surprise, the kind driver had put up the sign to let passengers know that he offers free rides to dialysis or cancer patients. Making the gesture even more heartwarming, the sign also included a simple “stay strong” message at the bottom.

“He was offering free rides for dialysis or cancer patients, and all you have to do is just let him know.
“At the time, it was raining really hard, and finding a ride was tough. Drivers who were still out were already taking big risks with the floods and traffic just to provide for their families. Seeing this driver who was willing to help another person, probably in their most dire situation, even if it meant not getting paid, really put things into perspective for me,” Boss Jab said.
“I hope this story can inspire more people to choose kindness”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Boss Jab said he hopes the driver’s kind gesture will inspire more people to find their own ways to help others without expecting anything in return.
“Some people are just better human beings. Altruism isn’t something we do just so we can post about it, as that defeats the whole purpose. But when we see it in others, we should take the time to talk about it and appreciate it.
Hopefully, in doing so, we can inspire more people to choose kindness and help a fellow human being whenever the opportunity presents itself.”
