When eating out at a restaurant, people put their trust in the restaurant owner and their staff to provide them with clean and delicious food that’s worth their money.

Though, sadly, not every restaurant would live up to those standards.

Netizen, Murali Subramaniam, took to his Facebook page to showcase a cockroach he had found in the meal he had ordered at an Indian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.

He wrote, “I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent dining experience at (restaurant name) on January 16, 2024 (Tuesday), between 2:30pm and 2:47pm.”

“I found a cockroach in the curry I ordered and when I brought this up to the counter’s attention, they apologised but claimed ignorance about how it occurred. Their response has left me feeling disappointed and I requested immediate action to address this matter, and to ensure it does not happen again in the future.”

In his posting, Murali showcased a dead cockroach in what looks like a dhal curry that he had ordered.

He also went on to tag the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) as well as the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDNHEP) in his post.

We genuinely hope that restaurant owners will be more careful and ensure the cleanliness of their eateries and the food they serve.
