Just a few hours ago, a netizen named Hadi Au took to Facebook to share how a guy, allegedly with the ‘Dato’ title, smashed a salesman’s windshield after refusing to pay up the money he owed. The incident happened at a nursing home in Seri Kembangan, which is run by the Dato. Say what?!

Aside from vandalising the car, the barbaric guy known as “Dato Alex” also beat up the salesman. Enraged by his behaviour, Hadi’s company that specialises in online marketing then decided to share this incident on Facebook to warn others.

Here’s the brief translation of the FB post.

“In January, our company helped Dato Alex set up two websites. We usually collect full payment before providing the service, because there are a lot of past customers who refused to pay up after advertising with us.”

“However, Dato Alex refused to pay fully and only paid RM1,200 in January. Today, I met up with him to collect the last payment, but he refused to pay up.”

Understandably, both parties became unhappy when they couldn’t come to an agreement. The heated conversation escalated quickly and the Dato resorted to punching the salesman’s head, body and hand. The salesman’s Toyota Vios was badly smashed as well!

As expected, this post went viral and netizens were disgusted by the Dato’s ruthless behaviour.

“How can they take care of the old folks if the owner is so hot-tempered?” a Facebook user said.

“If you can’t collect any money from the Dato, you can look for his mother. I heard their family runs quite a few nursing homes in the area,” a netizen commented.

Hadi Au also stated that they’ve since lodged a police report and vowed to hold the Dato accountable for his actions. Don’t give face!

Let’s hope the culprit will see his day in court and that the case won’t be swept under the carpet just because he’s allegedly a ‘Dato’.
