We often think that we can only help others or donate to charity when we are wealthy, which is fair.

However, most times, we do not need to have a lot of money to do something kind. This is perfectly exemplified by Logesh and his wife, Rachel of the content creating Kumaar Family.

They recently shared an 8 minute 45 second video on their Facebook page showing how they bought all nasi lemak packets at a stall just to give away the food to customers and passers-by.

After looking around some neighbourhoods, they chose a roadside nasi lemak stall in Taman Sri Andalas, Klang, to buy from.

“If it’s possible, can we buy everything?” Logesh asked the vendor, a young Malay lady, who agreed.

When she finished calculating the price of everything – nasi lemak, some Malay kuih and glutionous rice – the couple and the lady started giving out the food.

There were many people who came up to the stall with their cars, motorcycles and on foot.

Unaware that Logesh and Rachel were giving out the food for free, all the customers naturally offered to pay.

Money

But when the couple denied payment, the looks on the customers’ faces were priceless!

They looked so genuinely shocked and happy about the unexpected free food they were getting.

The fact that they were getting free food out of someone’s (Logesh and Rachel’s) kindness and desire to give back thrilled the customers.

It is not everyday that we encounter heartwarming acts of kindness such as this.

At one part of the video, Logesh also stopped an uncle selling vegetables on his bicycle to say hello.

He offered to buy some vegetables before handing over a RM50 note and asking the uncle to “take a break and take care”.

The food from the stall eventually sold out and the couple left the vendor to pack up and go home.

“It was so much fun. I want to do this everyday”, Logesh said, adding that he “might go bankrupt. But (he’ll) raise funds through YouTube”.

“So you guys, just keep watching our YouTube!”

Rachel also said that she “loved the look on people’s faces” as they asked, “Really? Really? Can we take more?”

Of course you can, that is the whole point!

This is what happens when you buy an ENTIRE Nasi Lemak stall!

We were in the mood of giving so we bought this entire Nasi Lemak stall in Malaysia and then gave all the nasi lemak away for free! Basically we opened Kedai Makan Kumaar Family in Malaysia.

We love the Kumaar couple for doing this! What a lovely and easy way to give back to the community.
