Pictures of nature are always good for the Gram, but there’s a place and time for it, and it’s certainly not on a busy road.

Just yesterday (January 20), the Facebook group 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians shared a video that shows a woman who descended from the passenger seat of a car and allegedly took pictures of the sunset. The incident took place at a traffic light in Kepong, just right in front of Jinjang’s MRT station.

The video was originally shared by a bike rider who was parked just beside the woman’s car. It did not take long for the light to turn green after the woman came out of the car, and when the rider rode away from the traffic light, she was still on her phone.

As we can see from the video, there was only a car behind the woman, and while it did not cause a long queue or hectic traffic, her actions are still prone to danger.

“She’s disregarding the safety of others”

Many netizens were not fond of her actions at the traffic light and in the comment sections, they criticised her for taking pictures at a traffic light.

“She’s a professional photographer. The picture will be submitted for a Pulitzer Prize contest, she’s eligible for 100 Indonesian Rupiah.”

“Thank God she didn’t take out a paper and a pencil to draw.”

Even if the woman was not taking pictures of the sunset, coming out of the car at the traffic light to use her phone could risk not only her life but also the other road users. We don’t want to disregard the safety of other road users just for a few pictures!

What would you do if the scene happened in front of your eyes?
