If you often fly when you travel, chances are you’ve had one of your expensive luggage bags coming out from the carousel looking like this.

PS: This is actually our colleague’s luggage.

Which is why netizens were stunned when they saw this viral video showing a Japanese staff treating passengers’ luggage bags with great care and love. No, she didn’t kiss the luggage bags. XD

In the 20-second video uploaded on Facebook, a female airport staff can be seen wiping the suitcases as they presumably just arrived in Japan. She was checking every single bag that passed in front of her before wiping it with a piece of white cloth. The lady was incredibly gentle, making sure she doesn’t accidentally scratch the bags.

Here’s the video.

As you can see, there was no rough handling involved. Even when she was nudging the bags, she did it with utmost care! So much TLC.

Netizens from around the world, including Malaysians, were amazed by this. They couldn’t help but to compare our local airlines with the Japanese airlines in the video.

“Never compare our services with Japan. When it comes to these things, the Japanese are on a complete different level,” a netizen said.

“This doesn’t happen only in Japan. In other airports, they not only clean the outside, they also clean the inside as well!” a cheeky netizen said.

We take pride in having one of the best airports in the world, at least according to this survey, but what’s the point of that if all the passengers’ bags come out broken? It really dampens our mood wei.

We hope all our local airlines can learn a thing or two from this Japanese crew and stop Hulk-smashing all the passengers’ bags, because they ain’t cheap to replace! Have you experienced such a thing before? Tell us in the comment section!
