Mat rempits are a huge problem in Malaysia, as they race and do dangerous stunts on their motorcycles while also causing fear among other road users. Which is why Malaysians are extra careful on the road, when they see motorcyclists behaving oddly.

The 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians Facebook page took to their profile to showcase a video of a motorcyclist dancing and swerving between lanes as he rides his motorbike.

While some netizens believe the motorcyclist is a danger to other road users and may be on drugs, others have pointed out that the man may be stressed out or sleepy, and is trying to keep himself awake.

This incident is believed to have taken place near the Bandar Springhill exit on the Seremban-Port Dickson highway.

Many condemned the motorcyclist, making assumptions that he might be under the influence of certain substances.

“The stupidest species on earth. If you want to kill yourself, there’s no need to endanger the lives of other road users.”

Others pointed out that we shouldn’t be so quick to judge, and that perhaps he had his reasons for dancing while riding his motorbike.

Dance 6

“Maybe he just got out of Singapore.”

Dance 8

“Sometimes we get stressed out, maybe this is one of the ways he makes himself happy. Who knows.”

Dance 9

“Pity him. He must be sleepy. It is very understandable. May his burdens be eased.”

While we are unable to know for sure as to why the man was dancing while riding his motorbike, one thing is for certain, we can always count on Malaysians to come up with theories and jump to conclusions.
