Wow, this is some bizarre punishment for sure!

A man recently attempted to break into a Perodua Axia at the Al-Hidayah Mosque in Section 18, Shah Alam on Friday (9 November). According to Utusan, it was during the Friday prayers, around 1.30pm, when the 36-year-old suspect was caught in the act by a man patrolling around the area.

“During the incident, the suspect was seen standing by the side of the aimed car, attempting to break the car window,” said Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Baharuddin Mat Talib.

The man patrolling the area then called out for help from other men in the mosque to catch the suspect.

“His right wrist was fractured due to accidentally hitting the car’s bumper while trying to hold the suspect down,” he added.

Before alerting the police for further action, the suspect was tied and placed in a coffin until the police arrived.
