We all hate getting stuck in traffic jam. What’s more, while being stuck in traffic we see those lucky motorcyclists zooming past us. Jealous, kan?

But then again, we don’t own a motorcycle, nor do many of us have motorcycle license. So what can we do?

Well, with the ride-hailing service called Dego, you can ride bikes instead of cars!

This awesome new service was founded in 2015 by our very own Malaysian startup team.

Latest Ride-Hailing Service Uses Motorcycles Instead Of Cars, Say Goodbye To Traffic Jam - World Of Buzz 2

So far, they have yet to build an app. However, they already have an up-and-running website, and they cover most areas around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

Dego is also by far the cheapest ride-hailing service because they charge at a super low price of only RM2.50 per 3 kilometers!

Assuming you were rushing from Klang Parade to KLCC (40KM), but you know la the traffic from Klang to Kuala Lumpur can be horrible, then you can imagine how early you could arrive at your destination by using this service, and at such a reasonable price too!

As motorcycles easily weave through the traffic, you only pay an estimate of RM33 for your entire ride and arrive three times faster than you would riding a car.

Plus, you don’t have to go through tolls so no extra charges!

Eh, but if they don’t have an app yet, how am I supposed to call up a ride?

Fret not, you simply save Dego’s phone number (017-288 9269) and Whatsapp message ‘RIDE’ to them. They will pick you up anywhere, even right at your doorstep.

While some of you may be worried about riding motorcycles, Dego has placed the safety of passengers into account by providing helmets for them. They also have real-time tracking just like the Uber and Grab applications do on their website.

Not only that, hygiene is also their priority as some people may be worried about sharing helmets. Of course, to eliminate the possibility of scalp infections or having sweat seep into the linings, Dego riders will prepare hairnets for all passengers.

However, Dego not only profits passengers but the drivers as well as they provide more job opportunities and extra income for Malaysians. And since they provide motorcycle rides, buying a motorcycle is easier and more affordable compared to purchasing cars.

Besides providing ride services to customers, Dego also help move documents, parcels, flowers, food, beverage, and anything you like!

Aside from motorcycles, they also have 4-wheelers to move your stuff around if they are too big for a motorbike.

Malaysia Finally Has Ride-Hailing Service For Motorcycles! - World Of Buzz

Indeed, the time for a revolutionised public transportation service took the limelight from the big boys in the game. Forget cramping in buses or trains. Forget paying exuberant prices for taxis. But most of all, forget getting stuck in traffic!

Dego is the latest ride-hailing service that Malaysians should give a go.

Check out Dego’s website or Facebook page for more information.
