Pretty similar, right?

Phantegrow Louiselle Leo Estrop, otherwise known as Phan, gained massive popularity on social media since this Facebook post went viral.

Now, not only is she being offered modelling gigs, she’s also recently been offered a role in a major local film!

Phan is set to star in the upcoming film, Sumpahan Kinabalu, produced by New Line Film Sdn Bhd. She took to her Instagram to express her experience filming the movie, saying,

“Acting was never easy from the beginning, I’ve been up and down so many times till I lost count of it , there’s just so many mix emotions happen on my journey throughout the shooting for this film”

“I just have to try my best and never give up , because in my mindset I’m doing this for Sabah.”

Despite all of the attention she’s received, Phan tries her best to stay humble. She told the New Straits Times,

“I would be lying if I said that being likened to Selena does not make me happy or proud. I consider it an honour, but I do not want to let that get to my head.”

“At the end of the day, I am still me, not Selena.”

Although she did agree to be part of a movie, she wants to remain focused on her studies for now.

We congratulate Phan on landing her first acting gig and wish her all the best in her studies!
