Today (on what was suppose to be our last day of MCO and now just our last day of MCO…phase 2) we have a debate.

The topic given is: *drum roll please* Is It Okay To Switch Eggs? Random, but very real.

According to MyWatch’s twitter account, a video was shared and it went viral.

If you’ve watched the video, you’d see that the lady in the shot was switching eggs from one carton to another, before what I’m assuming, going to the counter to purchase them. So basically, she opened up an egg carton and switched out some eggs with another carton. As soon as it was up, many netizens reacted to the video speculating just what it is she was doing.

Some said that she was swapping the higher grade eggs with the lower grade eggs to pay a lesser amount for them, while others insisted she was merely switching dirty eggs for cleaner ones.

A debate eventually sparked in the comment section, each voicing their own views on whether the lady was trying to get cleaner eggs or cheaper higher grade eggs.

The video was later clarified to have taken place in 2019 in Singapore, but the big question is:

Is it okay to switch eggs on your own accord? Should you be handling it yourself, or should you alert the staff? Would this be categorized as stealing?
