The craze for Apple’s iPhone 14 is going strong, and some of the buyers who can afford the device have already pre-ordered the phone, while others await its official release in Malaysia next week (September 23), according to Apple’s official website

The device, however, is already available in Singapore, where lucky Singaporean fans have already gotten their hands on iPhone 14. In the meantime, a Malaysian man decided to purchase an iPhone 14 by travelling to Singapore. Not only he managed to get himself the device, but he is also the first man in Singapore to own the latest Apple device!

According to the Facebook page Singapore Incidents, buyers started to line up outside an Apple store on Orchard Road and it was reported that a whopping 500 people joined the queue as early as 6 am. This is because the Apple store did not allow its buyers to “camp” overnight outside its store.

Little did the crowd know, that the very first man in the queue, was the Malaysian man who came all the way from KL just for the iPhone 14.

The persistent Malaysian had placed his order for the device online last Friday (September 9) before making his way to Singapore to get his own “reward”, and just prior to collecting his device, he slept in the airport.

And it isn’t his first time being that committed to this brand.

“4 years ago, I was also the first one to own the device”, he told 8world.

As the device will only be available in Malaysia next week, the man said that it was still worth it due to the differences in the experience.

“It’s a different kind of experience as there are no Apple stores in Malaysia.”

Apple’s official website reported that the price of an iPhone 14 starts at RM4,199, while iPhone 14 Pro starts at RM5,299. iPhone 14 Plus will follow on October 7 in Malaysia.

Do you think that there might be another one or two hardcore Malaysian fans of Apple lurking among the queue in Singapore? Fans of iPhone, have you pre-ordered your device and are you ready for this?
